They say that dogs age 7 years for every 1 "human year". Now that I'm in my 30's I feel the same theory applies for adult humans. 10 adult years for every 1 "human year". When we were kids, time was slower. I can remember sitting in school and staring at the clock and it seemed to be moving backwards. Soooo slow.... summer vacation was 10 years from the beginning of the school year. My daughter just turned 8 months old. Where the heck did the past 8 months go? Wasn't I just pregnant? Wait....wasn't I just graduating from school? How did I all of a sudden wake up with gray hair and crow's feet (laugh lines....bah humbug!), and an 8th month old baby? I'm scared at the thought that I can close my eyes today and wake up with my daughter being the one graduating from school. It just makes you realize that you need to appreciate every second we're given here on this planet. Make sure your friends and family know that you love them. Never go to bed angry. And live each day to its fullest!
Hugs-
Shelley
